Below is the interim MLB Attendance Report through games played in May. League wide attendance is virtually flat, down .6% through similar time period as last year. As expected, Cleveland is riding last years World Series run right into 2017, while Atlanta opened a new facility.

Someone asked for a look at all teams rosters after I posted the playoff rosters. Note that for players that were traded, they are represented in the team they were on at the end of the year. (i.e. Iginla is represented on the LA Kings, not the Colorado Avalanche.)

CHL season completed Sunday so I figured we would look at the attendance for the year. Overall, the WHL is down 1.3% which the QMJHL is down almost 7% year over year. The OHL is not available due to a change in how they share the attendance numbers.

I’ve compiled the Attendance records of all games through the end of February. The league remands flat year over year. (Note: that no outdoor games are included in any of this visuals.)
The league got a bump from the Columbus Blue Jackets tear through the league earlier this season as well as the Oilers opening a new bar in Edmonton. Those gains were offset by big drops in Ottawa and Colorado.
