If you are like me and have been thinking there is less overtime games this year, you are correct. Last nights Islanders-Panthers overtime game was only the second of the playoffs. Through 19 games, only 2010-11 had only 2 overtime games. Even without the overtime games, the goal differential is lower than the last 3 years.
